It was a bit difficult to choose a person or expert in the field that I admire, because it's only my first year of the career and I didn't know many, but I managed to find the right one.
Well Lenka Franulic was born in Antofagasta on July 22, 1908, she was a Chilean journalist, considered the first woman in her country to practice the profession.
She worked in the magazines "Hoy" and "Ercilla", in the latter she was appointed director in 1960. In 1943 she published the "Antología del Cuento Norteamericano" and in 1945 she assumed the direction of the Nuevo Mundo radio station. She created the Circle of Journalists of Santiago and, in 1953, she participated in the founding of the School of Journalism at the University of Chile. She won the National Prize for Journalism in 1957 and was awarded Best Journalist of the Year by the Professional Society of Women Journalists of the United States, the only Chilean to have received this honor.
I like it a lot since she dared to enter this field at a time when journalism was not a female field, delighting us with columns with a feminist tendency and liberal tone and becoming a benchmark for the most modern women.
Wow, I didn't know about Lenka Franulic, I find it incredible that she was the first woman in Chile in journalism. I would like to read some of the things she wrote.

In movies is the same, there are many cases where there is a marige and the man takes all recognizion when the woman was the real director, and we know now that that's what really happened, but if at the time that had been known maybe more women would have dare to take over the camera...just saying.
